Services offered
The primary services currently offered through my office are psychological/ psychoeducational evaluations for children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. The purpose of a typical evaluation in my practice is to help determine the source of any learning, emotional, or behavioral challenges and to provide recommendations for home and school to help remediate and/or accommodate these challenges. Additionally, the evaluation will help determine whether a diagnosis (such as ADHD, dyslexia, other learning disability, anxiety disorder, etc.) is appropriate based on data collected from multiple sources, including the client or child and those who know them well.
Once begun, the typical evaluation process spans four to six weeks and includes an intake interview, behavior questionnaires, a school observation when appropriate, one to two testing sessions with the client or child (up to three to four hours per testing session), and a feedback session. You will also receive a comprehensive written report at the conclusion of the evaluation. Each step of the evaluation process is completed by Dr. Birch.
Typical services are designed for ages 6 through adulthood. Unfortunately, I am not currently accepting insurance.
Contact me if you would like to discuss these services in more detail or to schedule an evaluation. Thank you!
